吴冠中 双燕

I first saw Wu Guanzhong's masterpiece of Jiangnan architecture in Hong Kong and bought a silk screen print of this piece at the Suzhou Art Museum. In the Chinese scholarly tradition, great works of art deserve the comments of other artists and the educated connoisseur. So every time a relative or friend sees this painting, I invite him or her to give it a title that captures the spirit of this scenery.
